Continuing in growing popularity, we now list dates for YDP at McDiarmid Park. This list will be regularly updated. In the meantime, why not purchase a YDP Voucher for some deserving young person as a present whether that be Birthday, Christmas or perhaps as a treat?

The move to Sundays is temporary because of likely Home games for St Johnstone FC.

Are you 14 or over and at least 4' 11" tall? Then you qualify to take part in our exciting Younger Driving Perth (YDP) programme. Brand new to Perth, we are offering young people the excitement of learning to drive up to three years before you can get your Provisional Licence!! Just think what a headstart you will have when you can get on the road at 17! Please note that our cars are not adapted for disabled drivers.

Would you like to get a real headstart on others by safely learning real car handling skills early? For you we can teach vital driving skills like moving off and stopping, steering, gear use, how to deal with junctions of all types. And that's for starters! What about reversing, parking and car safety checks? You will get all this and more. How will you feel knowing that you can drive way before your friends? You could be ready for the REAL Driving Test shortly after you turn 17.

So where can you do this?

We have negotiated the use of land at McDiarmid Park for YDP. This off-road location is separated from other venue users for your safety. Under expert tuition from fully qualified Approved Driving Instructors, you will get to drive the same cars we use to teach on the roads. We are delighted to announce that ADI Sarah Westwood of Sarah's Driving School has joined us for YDP. So if your preference is for a female instructor, we can offer you that choice.

When can you get started?

We will be offering sessions on non-match day Saturdays as well as during school holidays. Dates will shortly be published on this page and bookings taken with advance payment for each person attending.

YDP WILL BE LAUNCHED ON SATURDAY 28 MAY 2011 FROM 9AM. BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT

What will this cost?

Taster Sessions will last one hour and are for 3 people taking part per car. The cost for the car for the full hour is £45.00. This equals only £15.00 per person.

30 minute lessons are designed for one or two people in the car. The car costs £20.00 for the full 30 minutes.

One hour lessons are also designed for one or two people in the car. These cost £35.00 for the full 60 minutes.

We like to give you choice. We can cater for Groups, i.e. Schools, Scouts, Army Cadets, Guides, etc as well as individuals.

We are working to be able to offer Party Packages in the near future. What a change from the usual Pizza and Bowling!
